Lower Boat Regatta

Wednesday May 22^nd

Will leave LMMHS by bus at 12:30. Rowers are dismissed early.
Cox meeting is at 2:30
First race is at 3:15
Last race is around 5pm and hope
to be back at LMMHS around 6:30-7pm.
Please make sure you have signed a medical authorization slip.

Here is the race schedule

New Race Rule:
ALL Rowers have to wear a long sleeve shirt with their race shirt on top

What to bring:
Water
Sunscreen or rain gear depending on weather
Snack
Money for a possible stop for food on the way home

There will be no team food or any place to buy food at this event. So rowers might want to bring a snack.

Lower Boat Regatta is in New Preston outside of So Kent CT., about 1.5 hour drive. Hosted by Rumsey Hall it is designed for lower boats (Novice rowers) and is a fun day. Bus will depart from LMMHS around 12:30 on race day. Rowers will need permission slips for this trip, and they should bring food and water for the day. The racing starts at 3 with the cox's meeting at 2. It is scheduled to be done by 5 which puts us back home about 6:30. For Monument Mt. rowers the bus can stop at the school to pick you up please contact Joan to make arrangements.
